Stories about the world’s traditional cultures, told in twenty pictures. That’s the idea behind twenty shots, the short form photojournalism initiative of Traditional Cultures Project.

Some of these photostories offer visual previews of long form multimedia projects that TCP is working on or has already produced. Others stand completely alone, quick and complete. Either way, they will open your eyes to people and places that are rarely seen, and ways of living, doing, and believing that may soon fade away in today’s rapidly changing, increasingly globalized world.

Since TCP strives to make twenty shots and other multimedia projects available free of charge to anyone with an internet connection, we rely on contributions from people who like what we do.
